The Card Crate – Review + Giveaway!

This is the first I’ve found, The Card Crate is a place where you can get personalized stationery for all of your needs.  Be it, Holiday Cards,  Birth Announcements, Invitations, Save The Date, Thank You Cards, Graduation, Moving Announcements, and Custom Designs.

The Card Crate is super fast!  You can send in your picture, pick out your design and send it to the owner our very own Sara, she will have it back to you LEES than 24 hours and your satisfaction is their #1 priority!

I was able to review the process, which was EASY and didn’t hurt at all
Then within’ 24 hours I was able to get my card in JPG format and now I am able to print from my computer or upload it to a photo site in which they can print it off for me and all I have to do is pick them up.
All custom photo cards are only $10.
YOU can print however many you want to.

Now see, I love this because my children are in it (of course) but Sara had mentioned that it may be a little too busy and after seeing the card she did AFTER this one I knew she knew what she was talking about, where as I didn’t and was just amazed   This is my first photocard we’ve done so I really didn’t know what to expect.  But Sara is the professional here so I trusted her judgement.

Here is the second one she did that I didn’t have a part of besides the picture lol.

I now agree 100% with Sara!  I loved the newest card ALOT better!  But that doesn’t mean I am going to trash the other either lol.

Here is a little about Sara, the creator of The Card Crate.

After spending a small fortune on birth announcements and not wanting to do the same for my baby’s first Christmas card, I decided to create and print my own cards.  I soon found out that many people felt the same way!  Now for a small fee you can have beautiful custom photo cards and then print or email them at a price that suits you!

the card crate has taken me from a Stay At Home Mom to a Work At Home Mom.  Thank you for making this possible.

Our goal at the card crate is to provide you with the PERFECT photo card at a low cost.  PLEASE let me know what can be done to assure your satisfaction.

Your custom photo card will look its best if you send a .jpg file with a resolution of 300dpi or higher.  (We will let you know if the file is too small if you have no clue what this means!)  We will not take responsibility for the print quality of low resolution photos.

You can send your photo in color or black & white.   If you would like your photo changed to black & white or sepia tone, no problem (and no charge).  Just include your wishes in your initial email.  Your photo will be cropped to fit the specified area on the photo card.  Again, if you have any requests about cropping, just let us know in the email.

Also, we will not use your photo in any way, other than the intended purpose of creating your card, without your written permission.

I started my company because I wanted to give people an affordable way to
send family and friends custom photo cards like birth announcements,
holiday cards, invitations, etc.

All of our predesigned cards are $10 and are fully customizable.  What is
unique about our service (besides the cost) is that the customer prints
the cards themselves where ever they wish and in any quantity.

How it works:

1)  Customer chooses a predesigned card and fills out order form
(EVERYTHING is
customizable ~ fonts, text, # of pics, colors, etc) and upload their
picture(s) to
the form.

2) Within 24 hours we email them their completed card in a .jpg file.  If
they love it,
they can print it anywhere, if they want changes they are made at no extra
charge.

Currently we have Holiday Cards, Birth Announcements, Invitations for
birthdays, parties, baby showers, and wedding showers, Save the Dates,
Moving Announcements, Graduation Announcements, and Thank You Notes.  (All
of the cards can be used for whatever purpose the customer wishes.)

We also offer custom designs for $25, so if there is something that the
customer wants that they don’t see, we can create it!

I love how affordable her prices are, I love the outcome and the time she takes to make our card exactly how WE want it.  I love that The Card Crate also offers custom designs at a very affordable price!

I have taken the MagnaKase Wooden Magnetic Activity Box on trips to my grandparents house with my children.  They love it.  It keeps them having fun and not realize how long the drive actually is.

McNeill Designs for Brighter Minds – Review + Giveaway!

I love playing games, especially when my whole family can sit and enjoy eachother’s company.  I especially love to beat my husband at games   heh.  He gets so mad and I think it’s so funny!
One of McNeill Designs for Brighter Minds games is called ‘You’ve Been Sentenced!’ this is an absolutely FUN game!  My husband, 12 year old daughter and myself played this game.  My other 3 kids are too young, so we played when they were in bed.  We had so much fun playing this game.  It’s really easy to understand and come up with actual sentences.  Some of the sentences we came up with we were laughing so hard.  This is a very unique game, and not only is it really fun, but it’s also a great learning tool.

For ages 8 and up, 30-40 min to play, 3-10 players, with extensive rule variations available on the website.(Click Here)

The latest in the evolution of games, “You’ve been Sentenced!” is the first game in history to really turn making sentences into a very funny, playable, and challenging game. Using a unique word deck of pentagon shaped cards containing conjugations of funny words, famous names from throughout history, familiar places, and wild cards, players have to make grammatically correct and justifiable sentences. The real fun begins when players have to read their sentences out loud and explain what they mean to the rest of players. They form the jury and vote thumbs up or down on whether the sentence and justification stand and the points are scored. 540 cards with over 2,500 words insure billions of possible sentences so the game is never repetitive and has unlimited re-play value.

This game was also alot of fun.  My daughter & my niece took the game to play one night when they were suppose to be in bed!  I caught them of course, but let them continue to play because they were having so much fun.  As long as they are doing something productive I am all for it.

I have always loved Go Fish, even now   With Twisted Fish it gives you more of a challenge and just makes the whole game much more funner to play.  I let my son who’s 7 play with us as well, and he enjoyed it too and was easy enough for him to understand which is great!  This game was funny and just an all around great game to play with the whole family.  A perfect game to add to anyone’s wish list, stocking stuffer, or a game for Family Game Night!

I absolutely LOVE this soap!  Not only because it’s homemade and but because it smells and makes my skin feel absolutely WONDERFUL.
I use it every night to wash my face, and I use another in the shower.  I received Rosy Cheeks Rosemary on my face at night and I just couldn’t be happier.  It doesn’t have all those harsh chemicals that make my skin go dry, and it also doesn’t have a bunch of oils to clog my pores.  It’s the perfect combination and I am 100% happy with the outcome from using this soap daily.  But ladies, the smell is OMGosh GOOD!
I also love the smell of mint, anything with peppermint while I am showering and can give my skin the cool, crisp feeling but yet leaving my skin feeling so silky smooth.  I’m fresh & clean with soft skin, everything I look for in a soap!  I love the Peppermint Passion soap!  I love the smell, it wakes me up in the mornings, calms and soothes my senses and my skin!

Our soaps are made in large 5oz sizes as well as 2oz sizes which are great for guest soaps and convenient for travel.
