iPod nano Review

Here’s one of the hottest items this year, and maybe I am being biased but if you guys have not looked into the iPod nano, you’re really missing out.  I’m going to tell you a bit about it!

iPod sent me an iPod nano for review along with some wonderful iTunes gift cards.
The color I picked of course was pink, but the other colors you can pick from are, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, gray, black and of course pink

What’s so unique about the new iPod nano is that not only can you listen to your favorite music, but this little baby takes video too!

No cheap bad quality video either, it really takes some sharp video.
A quick scroll through the menu takes you to the video camera. Then you’re ready to record video in portrait or landscape — perfect for emailing or posting on Facebook or MobileMe. A built-in mic lets you capture audio, too. And when you play back your video on iPod nano, you’ll hear the recorded audio with it. All of which means your indispensable music player is now your indispensable video camera.

There’s also fifteen special video effects to play with too, why not make your videos count and just stand out above the rest!
Fifteen fun video effects let you add a little Hollywood to your video. Just scroll through, choose the effect you want — such as film grain or motion blur — and start recording. When you’re done, sync iPod nano to your computer and iPhoto (or your favorite photo software) opens. Then email your miniblockbuster or post on YouTube or Facebook.

As always, the sound on iPod is just above any other, the iPod nano is no different, it sounds wonderful, it even has an AM/FM radio.  My daughter & I share the iPod nano, but I must say she uses it more than myself, but that’s only because she steals it from me and then hides it!
The iPod nano also has Genius Playlists.
Say you have one song you really love and want to hear other tracks that go great with it. A few clicks on iPod nano, and Genius uses that song to find other songs in your library and makes a Genius playlist for you. You can listen to the playlist right away, save it for later, or even refresh and give it another go. Count on Genius to create combinations you wouldn’t have thought of yourself.

Roku – Review + Giveaway

Now here is a very unique and awesome item.  One of those gifts that any avid movie watcher would absolutely LOVE.

The Roku is a very awesome video player that with a subscription to Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand, or MLB.com you can instantly watch your favorite shows, movies, and games on your TV!

Now, maybe I am slow but it took me awhile to get the jest of this Roku.  Not to get the actual product to work, but what exactly it does.  After reading about it and watching videos I thought this little machine is awesome!

JVC – Picsio – Review + Giveaway!

Here is a great product for you, your family or someone you love.

The JVC Picsio!  This is a Pocket Flash Memory Camera, so easy to use and it’s small so you can carry it wherever you want to.  Stick it in your purse, or put it in your pocket, the JVC Picsio is perfect!

The Picsio is easy to use, and pretty fun!  I wanted to post a video of it on here but sadly my computer isn’t working with me.  It’s not the camera by any means, it’s my actual ports on my computer, they aren’t working.  So I will need to send my computer off to my computer guy to get it fixed, so right now, no video, however I did grab one from the JVC site.  The Picsio is very easy to use, my 12 year old has a ball taking video too.  It’s fun because you can really get up-close and personal.

I use the iPod docking station daily, I absolutely adore the sound.  I love that I can also charge my iPod on it.  It can become a hassle sometimes to charge it on the computer, so to have somewhere else I can charge it is awesome.
It also has a very sleek design and doesn’t take up very much space at all.  It sits nicely on my not so big desk!
